Graduated in Environmental Engineering, land planning and management, at Politecnico di Milano in 2001, she is a Temporary Researcher at the the Politecnico di Milano in the Scientific Sector ICAR/05 Transport, developing a research on sustainable mobility and big events. She is predominantly focused on the study and research of models for assessing the vulnerability of transport networks, on the development of methods and policies for managing networks in case of significant event, on elaborating policies and services for sustainable mobility and evaluation of Intelligent Transportation System. She teaches in "Transport risk management in emergency planning" at the Politecnico di Milano.
